The Manchester Band of Pomo Indians of the Manchester Rancheria, formerly named the 'Manchester Band of Pomo Indians of the Manchester-Point Arena Rancheria is a federally recognized tribe of Pomo Indians in California. The tribe's reservation is the Manchester-Point Arena Rancheria, situated near the towns of Manchester and Point Arena〔(California Indians and Their Reservations. ) ''San Diego State University Library and Information Access.'' 2009 (retrieved 26 Feb 2009)〕 in Mendocino County, California. The reservation is large.〔 The tribe is a community of Pomo Indians who are native to northern California. The Manchester-Point Arena Pomos speak the Central Pomo language of the Pomoan family.
